Rich, powerful and initially brooding but aeration brings up alluring cassis, boysenberry and cola scents. Became downright heady with air, taking on notes of dried flowers and sandalwood. The deep dark berry notes repeat on the palate, with supple tannins adding support. The finish, which refuses to let up, eventually leaves notes of spices and smoky minerals behind. I'd stash this one away for at least another five years. Josh
