DARBAR SAHIB CONSTRUCTION  PROJECT 2026-2027

With Waheguru's blessings, the sangat of Gurdwara Akaljot Sahib, Whitehorse, Yukon is embarking on the next phase of our community's journey.

We are Grateful to announce the construction of a 1,500 Sq. Ft. Darbar sahib, scheduled to begin construction in the summer of 2026 and continue into 2027 

vision

• Expand and enhance our gurdwara space for spiritual growth and community gatherings.                                    
• Build a dedicated Darbar Hall, designed in cathedral style to reflect both tradition and grace.                               
• Integrate the new Darbar Sahib with the existing Langar Hall, Lobby and the kitchen, strengthening the    Gurdwara as the heart of the sikh community in Yukon.
